I started nutrivene D complete protocol on May 13 2017. I had just heard of it and decided to try it. My son could not sit unassisted at 15 months but just a month into nutrivene he could sit by himself, become aware of his environemnt and could interact with his older siblings. We are almost 6 months into nutrivene and the "add-ons" and I don't know how to express my joy at finding nutrivene. I wish I had known about it at his birth, he would have been doing better than where he is . He is amlost 23 months old and is learning to stand. Dixie Tafoya Lawrence has a gruop on facebook called Trisomy 21 Research or you can read more on her website www.trisomy21research.org. Thanks so much Qad0shyah. I was wondering about nutrivene-d and it's benfits and side effects. My son is very smart just lacks the ability to speak in complete sentences he only says a few words. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Where can I purchase the nutrivene-d? I would have to read the studies again to check on that, as sometimes the period of time is given as to how long it is in the body in the studies. I have not been up to speed on a lot of the research in the last couple years, due to life changing (married and now have a baby of my own and another on the way). I know Andi Durkin over at DS Day Today keeps up with the research more than I have lately and she would probably be better able to answer that question.

As far as a folate supplement, Source Naturals is a good brand. Swanson Vitamins has also been one of my top choices.

@Unknown: I believe most parents have found EGCG to be very bitter. Is there any way you could give it to your daughter via a capsule she could swallow? I know this is how we give it to my brother. Otherwise, I would suggest using something like Apple Butter or some kind of good fruit spread or jelly, as a lot of times that helps mask the flavors of the vitamins. If she does not know how to swallow pills, there is a cup that teaches people how to swallow pills. It works super easy from our experience - my brother was just over a year old or so and he learned it very easily! Oral-flo pill swallowing cup, I believe it was called.

Hope this helps!Qadoshyahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15824192344524447095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3211143012204688541.post-21964331883859401972016-09-12T10:40:27.578-07:002016-09-12T10:40:27.578-07:00Thanks a lot for the information. That is what we do. And I just realized that I did not mention that in this post. Giving it twice a day will ensure that it stays in the child's system at all times. We give it in the morning and at night. Some have had problems giving it at night, as it made their child stay awake at night. But, some have not had any problems. We have not had any problems giving it at night.

EGCG should not deplete iron levels. What the research shows is that the sods are high in our kidos with DS. PROTANDIM actually regulates them. I was worried when I read that Protandim can increase SOD,S. because our kids don't need it increased. I need to find the study that was done and published in national institute of health that proved it regulates it. Also the other thing I learned is Protandim increases glutathione in our body too. And DS KIDS have low levels of glutathione. That's why we should not give our kids Tylenol. Decreases glutathione. Go to http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed and research there. The lazyman makes money every time some clicks on his website. The more controversy the better for him. Please don't imply I don't do my research. I do. I am sure you do too.
